Metallic IBCs (stainless and carbon steel) are built for heavy handling and stacking. Composite IBCs bring polyethylene chemical resistance inside a steel frame. Neither is better across the board. The right choice depends on your material, regulations and site.

Hawman designs and manufactures IBCs in accordance with CAN/CGSB-43.146, the Canadian standard governing UN-standardized intermediate bulk containers used for dangerous goods transportation.
The standard addresses areas including structural design, performance testing, UN marking and periodic inspection requirements.

Applies to specific carbon steel and stainless steel IBC models.
Composite / Poly IBCs
Applies to specific composite IBC configurations using an HDPE inner container and steel outer frame.
